Positioning satellites are subject to varying degrees of interference from electrical, electromagnetic, radio, strong magnetic fields, and other factors when retrieving data from each other; However, the use of dual frequency for ionospheric delay can eliminate the impact of ionospheric delay on electromagnetic wave signals. Therefore, Xiaomi boldly attempts to apply GPS dual frequency positioning to mobile phones. Dual frequency data can be combined without ionosphere, improving positioning accuracy. After countless tests, Xiaomi 8 finally enabled the L1 and L5 dual frequency carrier signals of GPS, as shown in the following figure:
