Global positioning system tracking is a method of accurately calculating certain contents. For example, a GPS tracking system can be placed in a vehicle, on a mobile phone, or on a special GPS terminal device, and the object can be a fixed or portable unit.

GPS works by providing information about the exact location. It can also track the movement of vehicles or people. Therefore, companies can use GPS tracking systems to monitor the route and progress of transporting trucks, parents check the location of their children, or monitor high-value assets during transportation. With its professional development technology, the GPS tracking system has been extended to fields such as cold chain transportation and temperature and humidity control. By adding temperature and humidity sensing functions, accurate information can be sent to user devices.

The GPS tracking system uses the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) network. This network includes a series of satellites that transmit microwave signals to GPS devices to provide information about location, vehicle speed, time, and direction. Therefore, GPS tracking systems can provide real-time and historical navigation data for any type of journey.

GPS provides special satellite signals that are processed by the receiver. These GPS receivers can not only track the exact location, but also calculate speed and time. Even four GPS satellite signals can be used to calculate the position in a three-dimensional view. The spatial part of the Global Positioning System consists of 27 Earth orbit GPS satellites. Every 24 hours, 24 operational satellites and 3 additional satellites orbit the Earth and transmit radio signals from the space received by the GPS receiver.

The control of the positioning system includes different monitoring stations located around the world. These monitoring stations help track signals from GPS satellites that continuously orbit the Earth. Spacecraft transmit microwave carrier signals. Users of the Global Positioning System have GPS receivers that can convert these satellite signals so that people can estimate their actual position, speed, and time.
