The guidance function works under the following conditions:

　　1.) To set the GOTO target You can press the "GOTO" key to set the "Go" target, and then select a landmark from the list. The "guidance" function will guide this landmark in the future.

　　2.) There are currently active routes. The active route is generally set under the setting ->route menu. If there is an active route at present, the "guidance" point is the first waypoint in the route. After reaching one waypoint, it will automatically point to the next waypoint.

　　The name of the current guide waypoint will be marked on the upper part of the "Guide" page (the point in "ROUTE" also has a name). It calculates the direction angle of the guidance target to you according to the current position, and displays it with the same angle value as the "forward direction". At the same time, the distance from the target and other information are displayed. Read the guidance direction, and press this direction to go to the destination. Some GPS combine the forward direction with the guidance function. As long as the GPS head points to the forward direction, there will be a pointer arrow pointing to the declination angle between the forward direction and the target direction. The target can be found by following this arrow.
