Beidou Navigation GPS

　　China Beidou Satellite Navigation System (BDS) is a global satellite navigation system developed by China. On June 23, 2020, the 55th satellite was launched, and the global network was completed. So far, the five permanent members of the United Nations have their own navigation system, which is the third mature satellite navigation system after GPS and GLONASS. Beidou Satellite Navigation System (BDS), GPS in the United States, GLONASS in Russia, and GALILEO in the European Union are the recognized suppliers of the United Nations Satellite Navigation Committee.

　　The Beidou satellite navigation system consists of three parts: the space segment, the ground segment and the user segment. The space segment consists of several geostationary orbit satellites, inclined geosynchronous orbit satellites and medium earth orbit satellites. It can provide high-precision and high-reliability positioning, navigation, and timing services for all kinds of users around the world, and it has the ability to communicate with short messages.
