The use of in car GPS locators is becoming increasingly widespread, especially for drivers who are familiar with it. Many friends want to know if GPS locators can work properly in harsh environments. In general, normal electronic products will affect the normal operation of the equipment when the temperature rises or falls. Let's learn about the working conditions of vehicle mounted GPS locators in special environments together with the source electronic editor.

Just like in winter, some electronic devices may not be able to charge, so GPS locators working outdoors may also be affected by environmental factors. The acceptable range of the locator in low-temperature environments is -20-70 degrees, which many people find irrelevant because it is not as high at room temperature. In fact, such a temperature range only means that the GPS locator can maintain its operation, but it may not necessarily achieve the best working state. In the winter of the Northern Hemisphere, minus 20 degrees Celsius is also very common, let alone in some harsh environments where the temperature will decrease. In summer, it is impossible to guarantee that vehicles will always be parked in a shaded parking lot, as long as they are outdoors. The temperature inside the car is even higher than outside, let alone cars that are directly exposed to sunlight. Stabilizing the surrounding temperature between 15-35 ℃ is the optimal condition for continuous operation of GPS locators.

If the above two weather conditions occur and the locator is still placed outside the car, such as the bumper in the car trunk, there are significant restrictions on vehicles directly exposed to the environment. If the working temperature of the GPS locator exceeds the allowable value, it will automatically shut down and stop working to protect the parts of the device and not automatically damage the equipment. People often ask if the exposure locator will explode? The bursting of GPS locators is often caused by circuit faults, wiring errors that cause changes and collisions in various components of the equipment. If your GPS locator is placed correctly, it wouldn't be like this at all. Similarly, the same applies to low-temperature environments.
