The former has weak directivity, but the gain is relatively small; the latter has strong directivity, but the gain is also strong, and is suitable for use in a fixed place. Of course, the larger the size of the antenna, the better the effect. Some products are equipped with high-gain antennas that can be connected externally. This type of antenna generally uses helical antennas, because when the size of the external antenna becomes larger, the gain is not a problem, and it is more sensitive to directivity.
