What is the IMEI number? IMEI is an identifier that distinguishes GPS locator devices, stored in GPS locator devices, and can be used to monitor stolen IMEI or invalid GPS locator devices. The IMEI is printed on the logo on the back of the GPS device body, as shown in the following figure. It is also the "file" and "ID number" of the GPS locator in the manufacturer.
So what is the role of IMEI numbers for GPS locators?
As mentioned above, the IMEI number is the ID number number of the GPS locator. In this way, only the manufacturer of the IMEI number can query the basic information of the device, how it is produced, where it is sold, and so on.
Moreover, the IMEI number is also the only way to activate the device.
