　　Most GPS receivers on the market are of the 12 parallel channel type, which allows them to continuously track the information of each satellite. Generally, a 12 channel receiver does not require an external antenna, unless you are in a closed space, such as a cabin or carriage.

　　3. Positioning time

　　This refers to the time it takes for your GPS receiver to determine its current position when you restart it. For a 12 channel receiver, if you are near the last positioning position, the positioning time during cold start is generally 3-5 minutes, and during hot start is 15-30 seconds. For a 2 channel receiver, the positioning time during cold start is mostly more than 15 minutes, and during hot start is 2-5 minutes.
