　　This type of system is similar to 2, but mainly used for ship navigation and management on nearshore and inland river routes, usually requiring support from satellite communication systems such as INMARSAT.

　　This type of system is mainly used for maritime patrol boats, anti smuggling boats, and various yachts, especially private yachts, to prevent theft. Sometimes, navigation parameters do not need to be provided, such as for private yacht theft prevention, which only requires one-way data communication. Once theft occurs, the navigation system on the yacht continuously sends its position and heading to the relevant center for tracking.
