The system requires bidirectional data/voice communication to facilitate navigators guiding ships; Port area scenario/chart display to indicate anchored vessels and available entry routes to avoid collisions. This system requires high accuracy for navigation systems and requires the use of differential GPS and other enhancement technologies.

　　3. Airline Traffic Management System

　　This type of system is similar to 2, but mainly used for ship navigation and management on nearshore and inland river routes, usually requiring support from satellite communication systems such as INMARSAT.

　　4. Tracking and monitoring system

　　This type of system is mainly used for maritime patrol boats, anti smuggling boats, and various yachts, especially private yachts, to prevent theft. Depending on the specific user, some systems require navigation parameters and bidirectional data/voice communication, such as anti smuggling boats. Sometimes, navigation parameters do not need to be provided, such as for private yacht theft prevention, which only requires one-way data communication. Once theft occurs, the navigation system on the yacht continuously sends its position and heading to the relevant center for tracking.
