　　1. The accuracy of civil GPS locators is mostly within 10 meters.

　　The GPS we are using now belongs to civil GPS. We will not discuss the military level for the time being. For GPS and Beidou alone, the positioning accuracy is generally about 10 meters under good signal conditions (open ground, sunny and other ideal conditions). If it is LBS (base station) positioning, the positioning accuracy is generally between 100 meters and 1000 meters, but now many locators are equipped with WIFI positioning, and the error will be much smaller than that of LBS base station positioning in 50-200 meters.

　　GPS positioning accuracy is achieved through certain algorithms. The requirements for the environment at that time are very high. If there are tall buildings around, interference signal sources, cloudy weather and other influences, the positioning accuracy error will be relatively large. The high precision mentioned in the market can only be achieved under ideal conditions. Even for the same machine and the same place, it is normal to have different positioning accuracy in different time periods.

　　2. Not all batteries can be used as ultra-long standby GPS locators.

　　For ultra-long standby GPS locators, the battery capacity and characteristics determine the length of standby time. As we all know, the standby time is proportional to the battery capacity. The larger the capacity, the stronger the endurance. Therefore, the battery capacity can be roughly used as a judgment method. However, not all large-capacity batteries are suitable for such positioning. There are many kinds of batteries. There will also be self-discharge during normal use, which means that the battery will consume its own power. If the self-discharge of the battery itself is very high, even the largest capacity can not support the concept of ultra-long standby. Unless it is a solar-powered device, it is not terrible even if there is no electricity outdoors. The device with solar radiation will automatically charge and start up, and can store electricity permanently.

　　3. The smaller the volume of the positioner, the higher the technical content, but not the smaller the better.

　　Without reducing the component configuration, the smaller the volume of the positioner, the higher the technical content. Because for R&D personnel, it is necessary to arrange so many lines and components in a limited area, which tests the comprehensive control ability and overall planning ability. But the smaller the better. The main parts of the locator are GPS module and GSM antenna, and the space occupied by these two parts is relatively large. If their space is ignored, the impact on the signal is considerable. There is no fixed GSM antenna, and even a small wire is used to replace it. This signal is not only poor, but also extremely unstable.
